Bowl Bonanza ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at bowlbonanza.org. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
When you create an account or sign in, we collect the following information:
Your name, email address, and a password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account. We also collect the game picks and tiebreaker predictions you submit as part of the pick'em competition, and the name of the person who referred you.
We use your information to operate the Bowl Bonanza pick'em competition. Specifically, we use it to authenticate your identity and manage your account, display your name and picks on the leaderboard and participant list to other logged-in players, calculate scores and rankings, and send password-reset emails when you request them. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use the following third-party services to operate Bowl Bonanza:
Firebase (Google) — for authentication, database hosting, and web hosting. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed through Firebase and is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not use analytics trackers, advertising networks, or any other third-party data processors.
We retain your account information and pick history for as long as your account exists and for historical leaderboard records across seasons. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Your password is managed by Firebase Authentication and is never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to pick data is restricted by security rules — other players cannot see your picks until the submission deadline has passed.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email below. If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection laws (such as the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights, including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing.
Bowl Bonanza is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
